Sister Wife by Shelley Hrdlitschka

Nanette longs to become a sister-wife to a much older man, but her sister, Celeste, is not too fond of the idea--especially not when Jon, a boy her own age, seems to return her affections. But when
Jon decides to leave the community, Celeste must decide if she is strong enough to go
with him and leave behind everything she has ever known.

Mrs. R's opinion: "Polygamous societies have gained a wide interest in the media lately, and this book is a very interesting depiction of such a society. Not only does it suggest what rules/laws are enforced in these families but it also questions the morality of such a lifestyle. I really enjoyed the book and identified with Celeste. A great variety of characters with different opinions on what makes a true marriage and family."
